Charity Tillemann‑Dick and her Cleveland Clinic transplant physician Dr. Marie Budev moved the audience to tears at STIR in December 2016 when they showed us the power of vulnerability in the patient physician relationship and spotlighted the innate reciprocity that can be healing for both. Charity will return to our stage once again to host “The Artist Curates the Scientist” session.

Charity is a soprano, composer, and top-selling Billboard classical artist.

A recipient of two double lung transplants and cancer survivor, her amazing story and vocal talents have been widely featured around the world. Her memoir, The Encore, published in October 2017. She has collaborated with noted conductors and musicians and has performed for numerous presidents, prime ministers, members of Congress, and world dignitaries.
